Introducing Grand Brochure, a project that involved the redesign of a brochure for Grand Supermarket. The goal of the project was to transform the existing brochure from English to Arabic, with a completely new layout and design.

The transformation of Grand Supermarket's brochure into Arabic required meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the realm of text formatting and layout. Shifting from English to Arabic necessitated not only translating the content but also adapting it to the unique characteristics of the Arabic language, such as its right-to-left script.

One of the primary tasks was to ensure that the text was correctly formatted to align with the selected Arabic font. Arabic fonts have distinctive features, such as varying letter forms depending on their position in a word (initial, medial, final, or isolated). This meant that each letter had to be carefully placed and adjusted to create a harmonious and legible text flow.

Moreover, other factors came into play that affected the position of the text, such as the inclusion of images, icons, and other graphical elements. Ensuring that these elements did not disrupt the reading flow or overshadow the text required a delicate balance in the layout.

Fixing the layout involved more than just translating text boxes and images from left to right. It meant rethinking the entire composition to suit the right-to-left reading direction of Arabic. Headers, subheadings, and bullet points needed to be reorganized to guide readers through the content seamlessly.

In essence, the redesign of Grand Supermarket's brochure for an Arabic audience was a comprehensive endeavor that involved not only language translation but also a complete overhaul of the layout and design. The result aimed to not only convey the information effectively but also to resonate with the cultural and visual preferences of Arabic-speaking customers.
