Challenge
Designing an exhibition booth for Linecraft AI required a seamless blend of engagement, storytelling, and brand identity while maintaining a clean, structured, and highly functional space. The key challenge was to create an interactive, visually compelling environment that effectively communicated Linecraft AI’s expertise in industrial IoT and manufacturing analytics. Additionally, the booth needed to accommodate both public and private interactions, ensuring an optimal experience for visitors at different levels of engagement.
Process
Designing an exhibition booth is a multi-layered process that blends strategic planning, spatial design, and brand storytelling to create an impactful visitor experience. Initially, the process starts with defining key objectives, ensuring that every design element aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
The conceptualization phase involves sketching the booth layout to optimize visitor flow, engagement zones, and branding elements. Key interactive components—such as digital screens, product showcases, and seating areas—are placed strategically to maintain an intuitive and inviting atmosphere.
Once the initial sketches are refined, the design is translated into detailed 3D modeling and visualization outsourced to Woodpecker our fabrication vendor, the art direction, branding, and content design remain entirely in-house. This means ensuring every visual, color, and interaction aligns with Linecraft AI's identity, while also working closely with Woodpecker on iterations to refine the booth's execution.
Balancing brand identity, engagement, and practicality is crucial, as the booth must not only capture attention but also facilitate meaningful conversations and business interactions within the limited space.
Collecting References:
-
Understanding the Vision: Finding the right design references is essential to ensure the booth reflects the brand’s personality while maintaining a modern and engaging aesthetic. This involves analyzing successful booth designs, considering trends in spatial layout, lighting, and interactive technology.
-
Maintaining Originality: While reference materials provide inspiration, the challenge lies in translating them into a unique, brand-specific experience rather than direct replication. Customizing elements such as color schemes, signage, and interactive features ensures a distinct and memorable presence.
By carefully curating and adapting references, the final booth design achieves a seamless balance between inspiration, functionality, and originality, creating a compelling brand environment for visitors.
